CUBE recently became a sponsor to the the Irish Soccer Referees Society. The Society was established in 1959 after a deluge of controversial referring decisions were becoming a negative focal point of so many matches. Since its beginning the society has grown to having over 700 members and 21 branches nationwide. Today there is a strong and vibrant Council running the affairs of the Society. The services they provide don’t stop at referee training, the society also provides child welfare workshops, safety guidelines, stewarding and are activists in the ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ campaign, to name but a few.
