It is going to be very quiet in CUBE now that our Financial Controller and very good friend Bridget has departed. She has done so much for CUBE over the years, from successfully guiding the company through the harsh economic downturn to hosting coffee mornings for local charities to cooling everyone down with surprise ice-creams on hot days. Certainly, she’s the only one who holds all departmental secrets, such as where to find spare filing-cabinet keys, a copy of an annual report from 1996, or the secret stash of biscuits for visitors. Let’s hope she doesn’t get an unlisted number and remains available in our inevitable times of crisis.
